Aaron Pearce was named President and CEO in August 2023. Prior to joining Pharmacists Mutual, Aaron was employed by Berkley Insurance Company as an operating company General Counsel, serving seven different Berkley insurance brands across the United States. Prior to joining Berkley in 2014, Aaron served as legal counsel for Farmers Mutual Hail Insurance Company of Iowa. Aaron holds a Bachelor's degree in Social Science from Central College in Pella, Iowa, a Juris Doctorate (JD) from the Ave Maria School of Law, and a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Iowa, Tippie School of Business. Pearce has served as the chair of the Des Moines, Iowa based annual Global Insurance Symposium and is the president of Iowa's property and casualty state trade association, The Iowa Insurance Institute. Pearce has been active in leading charitable efforts in support of The March of Dimes, Iowa Jobs for America’s Graduates, and Breakthrough T1D (formerly JDRF). He also previously served for over ten years as a youth football coach across grades seven to twelve in various school districts. Aaron currently serves on the Board of Directors for Kid’s Chance of America.

Bill Hedges is a graduate of Oregon State University, where he earned Bachelor of Science degrees in Mathematics and Economics. He later completed an Accounting Certificate program at Linfield College and a Master of Science in Finance at Georgetown University. Prior to joining Pharmacists Mutual, he spent 32 years working for Oregon Mutual Insurance, in McMinnville, Oregon. He began in the actuarial department and, at the end of his service in 2017, was Director of Financial Services. Hedges joined Pharmacists Mutual in 2019 as Vice President and Controller. His community involvement includes service as Treasurer for McMinnville Habitat for Humanity and as a Board Member of the McMinnville Downtown Association

Cami Hansen has served as Vice President, Finance and Controller since July 2024. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Briar Cliff University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Sioux Falls. Cami brings more than 25 years of experience in statutory accounting within the insurance industry, having held senior finance and accounting roles at Applied Underwriters, Risk Administration Services, and CNA Surety. She holds the Associate in Insurance Accounting and Finance (AIAF) designation.

Gina Helmers became the Vice President, Strategy & Reinsurance in March 2024. Since joining Pharmacists Mutual in 1995, she has held a variety of leadership roles, including Underwriting Manager and Director of Corporate Strategy and Services. Gina earned her Bachelor's degree in General Studies from Southern New Hampshire University and holds the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and Associate in Reinsurance (ARe) designations. She is an engaged member of the Iowa CPCU Society and was recognized in 2023 by the American Property Casualty Insurance Association as an emerging leader in the insurance industry. Gina is also an active Rotarian and serves on the Kossuth County Community Foundation Board, contributing to community development and local philanthropic initiatives.

Kristi Tesni joined Pharmacists Mutual in April, 2024 as Vice President, General Counsel. After starting her legal career with the Bradshaw law firm in Des Moines, Iowa, she engaged in a career spanning more than 20 years within the insurance industry. Kristi has held a variety of positions with companies such as Nationwide Insurance, Grinnell Mutual, Vouch, and Coverys. Kristi has been a member of various boards over the years including Head Start, CoSI Iowa, the Iowa Supreme Court Access to Justice Commission, and currently sits on the Iowa Supreme Court Grievance Commission. Kristi holds a Bachelor's degree in Communications from Iowa State University, and a Juris Doctorate (JD) from the Drake University School of Law.

Michelle Leonard joined Pharmacists Mutual in 2025 as Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis. Michelle has specialized in financial planning and analysis within the insurance industry for the past 15 years, previously working at F&G Annuities & Life, Athene, and its predecessor company Aviva USA. Prior to that, Michelle worked as a financial auditor at Ernst & Young, LLP with a primary focus on insurance clients. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Accounting from Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa, and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
